Our Mission

The schools implementing the Erasmus+ mobilities on climate change in mountain areas aim to create a future in which education and mobility actively contribute to sustainable development The projects acknowledges the crucial role of schools in shaping the attitudes and behaviours of future leaders, professionals, and citizens. Environmental sustainability is integrated into various educational activities, encouraging participants to become advocates for a greener and more sustainable world. The project promotes lifelong learning, acknowledging that education goes beyond traditional classrooms and enables individuals to acquire new skills, adapt to evolving societal needs, and actively contribute to their communities.

Our project on Erasmus+ mobilities on climate change in mountain areas (2023/24) aims to take a holistic and collaborative approach that integrates environmental conservation, community empowerment, and global cooperation. With the help of the Erasmus+ programme of the EU the schools will  tackle the particular challenges of these distinctive environments and their inhabitants, thereby contributing to a more sustainable and resilient future.

Our students will have a unique opportunity to learn from and with each other in a cross-cultural and international context. Cultural understanding, language skills, interdiciplinary collaboration, personal growth, intercultural competence, global citizenship, problem solving and adaptability, career development are the fields we want to improve together.

Investigate

Climate change in mountain areas is a complex issue that often requires an interdisciplinary approach. Projects may involve collaboration between institutions specializing in environmental science, geography, engineering, and other relevant fields.

Act

Our students play a significant role in climate change Erasmus+ projects by actively participating, contributing their skills and perspectives, and engaging in meaningful activities. They can get involved in several ways. This may include developing apps, creating online platforms, or utilizing remote sensing technologies.
